As a small Christmas gift, we wanted to share an Ayurvedic favourite to support warmth, digestion and calm during the festive season.
An Ayurvedic Wish for You
May this Christmas bring you warmth, balance and nourishment.
May your digestion be strong, your mind calm and your heart full.
May you enter the new year rested, grounded and supported.
A Traditional Ayurvedic Tonic –Â Golden Milk
Ingredients
• 1 cup organic milk or almond milk
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• ¼ tsp cinnamon
• Pinch of ginger powder
• Pinch of cardamom
• Pinch of nutmeg
• Optional: a little raw honey or jaggery
(added once warm, not hot)
Method
Gently warm the milk on low heat.
Add the spices and stir slowly with intention.
Do not boil.
Remove from heat, allow to cool slightly, then add sweetener if desired.
Sip slowly in the evening to support digestion, calm the nervous system and promote deep rest.

Support Digestion During the Festive Season
Christmas often brings richer foods, later meals and a change in routine. One of the kindest things you can do for your body this week is to support digestion.
A few simple reminders:

Eat a little slower than usual

Stop eating before you feel completely full

Have something warm before or after meals, such as herbal tea or golden milk

Take a short walk after eating if you can
Strong digestion supports energy, immunity and mood. Small, mindful choices make a big difference.
Be gentle with yourself this week. Consistency matters more than perfection.
