One popular method to increase brown fat is through cold exposure, popularised by Wim Hof, the creator of the Wim Hof Method. Studies have shown that after a 10-day period of cold acclimatisation, brown fat levels increase, enhancing the body’s thermogenic response. However, it’s important to approach cold exposure with caution, as it may carry cardiovascular risks. Gradual exposure through cold showers, with proper guidance, is a safer way to build tolerance.
