The word snack can have a bad ring to it. But not with these Moong Dal Ladda treats.
Store them in the cupboard and keep them for these in between days when you ned a pick me up.
Or serve them as a Dessert to share among friends and family.
These Moon Dal Ladda are the healthy snacks and the prefect alternatives for when you need a snack.
Moong Dal Ladda Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup moong dal
- 1/2 cup jaggery
- 3 to 4 tablespoons ghee
- 2 to 4 tablespoons nuts
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
Method
- Roast the moong dal in a frypan on a low heat till it is light golden brown and aromatic. This will take around 10 to 15 minutes
- Allow the dal to cool down on a plate
- Grind the cooled dal and turn it to fine to coarse powder.
- Add jaggery and mix well. Again grind it.
- Take it out in a bowl. Add cardamom powder and nuts. Mix well and add little little ghee. Take out a spoonful in your hand and roll it into a small ball. Repeat for the whole mixture. Enjoy Laddu’s
